Former Miss Hong Kong 1988, Michelle Reis married business tycoon Julian Hui. Last Saturday, the wedding ceremony was held at the Hui family home and the media was forbidden.

Michelle Reis, 38, was taken from her home by the groom Julian Hui, 46, and his entourage at around midday and their silver-grey Rolls Royce was protected from the pursuing press by over 20 security guards as it sped towards the Hui family’s mega-mansion.

Once safely inside, the couple happily posed for photographs with their guests on the lawn as they waited for the arrival of their parents for the main ceremony.

Much earlier, a reporter found the couple's notice of intended marriage, submitted on October 28, at a marriage registry in Hong Kong's Admiralty district.

The relationship of 38-year-old Michelle and 46-year-old Julian went public in June 2006 when the two were spotted holding hands in Bangkok, Thailand.

Julian Hui was engaged to actress Carina Lau before but then married Pansy Ho, daughter of casino king Stanley Ho in 1991. After 9 years they are separated, he then proposed to Michelle Reis last June.
