Hey! I know that we are living in such a sex-up culture but there is nothing wrong when young people stand up for abstinence .
I am proud that Jordin Sparks and Jonas Brothers stand up for no sex before marriage! They all wear a promise ring or a purity ring. Essentially holding on to their virginity! Bravo to them!
In the recent VMAs, British comedian Russel Brand (who the hell is he??!) apparently poked fun at the Jonas Brothers for their purity ring. Jordin Sparks who have been very open about her virginity then spoke out against the Brand's jokes "I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It's not bad to wear a promise ring," Sparks, 18, told the crowd, off-the-cuff, "because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut."
Her comments were met with a cheer from the crowd!
Good for her and good for the Jonas Brothers! We need much more of good values in today's world!
