Review: Fast & Furious

Just went to see Fast & Furious. Yes...this is not the 2001 The Fast & The Furious. This is the 4th movie installment for the Fast & Furious franchise. From what I can tell, it is the true sequel to the original 2001 movie but really it is after Too Fast Too Furious when Paul Walker character Brian went rogue. All the original actors are back, Vin "the cool botak" Diesel, Paul "the white boy" Walker. Michelle "the tough and sexy chick" Rodriguez and Jordana "the next door nice girl" Brewster. Although one of the character was only back for a short scene. But it is good to see her in this show.

The movie based on investigating a drug lord trafficking drugs thru the US-Mex border. Not going into too much details, Vin and Paul characters have their own agenda to bust this drug ring. Paul was the FBI agent and Vin was the outlaw driver with his own motivation. Again, it is loaded with scantily clad womens and cars cars cars. This time we will see a lot of American muscle cars than the imports.

Personally I would like to see the old gang together and see some good car chase action. It was not dissapointing but it was not too great too. I would recommend only if you into cars, Vin Diesel or you like the first 2001 The fast & the furious movie. If not...you are not missing anything.

Considering this is not a very good movie it still made $72.5 Millions this weekend in the US.
