There are news trickling down that Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire have already sign on to the project. They are still waiting for Kristen to sign on. She did mentioned that she is interested in continuing the Mary Jane role but who knows. She might be sick of playing the damsel in distress.
But there is no script yet but a lot of rumors on who is going to be the villians. One is the professor in Peter's University. He will experiment with regenerative cell and make himself becomes the Lizard. Also another possibility is Mary Jane ex-fiance....is there such a word as "ex-fiance"??. Yea..he will become a Wolf Man. These 2 villians are not too interesting. Anyway...production are slated for march 2010. But who knows what kind of things that could happen to delay the project.
